The Lotus Law Residential Care Home is a six-bed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE), owned and operated by Lotus Law Home LLC.

Lotus Law Home will accept and retain up to six residents, four of whom may be non-ambulatory.

• Our 11,000 square foot property has a side-yard and back-yard that’s fenced, offering both sunny and shady areas. We have over a hundred varieties of plants, including: an apple tree, a fig tree, tomatoes, basil, thyme, rosemary, comfrey, juniper, passion flowers, lavender, roses, dandelion, and nasturtiums, to name a few. We have a gourmet built-in barbeque grill surrounded by stone benches and walkways. We have redwood bench seating all around the patio decks with chest-high safety rails.
• We feature 2 semi-private rooms for ambulatory and non-ambulatory seniors, and 2 private rooms upstairs for ambulatory residents. Residents are encouraged to personalize their rooms.
• We made conscious decisions to decorate with vintage furniture to evoke the luxurious feelings of safety, comfort and well-being of bygone days. Every aspect of the home environment has been carefully considered with the needs of your beloved elder in mind.
• The main bathroom is cheerful and ADA compliant, including special safety flooring and lots of good lighting; a window to nature; a 5-square-foot barrier-free wheelchair accessible shower with four (4) grab bars, a bath bench, and three (3) additional grab bars around the bathroom; wheelchair accessible sink; a comfort height toilet; and a second toilet to equip a bidet in the near future - bidets aid to ensure a gentle, warm water rinse, for a refreshing, therapeutic, post-toileting hygiene experience.
• The kitchen is open, well-lit and about 550 square feet, with 3 large windows overlooking the gardens.
• Family and friends can gather for visits in the kitchen, the living room, the library, or the yards. Privacy for visits can be arranged. Our family support program is very important to us.

Days & hours
of operation...

Lotus Law Home provides care and supervision seven (7) days per week, and twenty-four (24) hours per day, with supervision and assistance provided according to each resident’s Individual Service Plan.

We provide sensitive service supports to help seniors be as successful as possible with their independent care needs.

We assist our senior residents so that they may live and be as healthy and happy as possible.

Daily schedules of activities will be provided by the facility, which plans, conducts and assists residents with these activities. When a resident is admitted, the administrator will discuss with the resident and family the daily routine and types of activities the resident enjoys. The administrator will plan our daily schedule, keeping the needs and desires of all residents in mind, to accommodate the needs and desires of the resident as much as possible. Our residents' daily plans are their choice, although we will encourage participation in activities and socialization.

Activity planning is based on each resident’s pleasure/enjoyment, empowerment/choice, self expression, and functional capacity.
